スカル、薔薇、骸骨の手、砂時計——そういったモチーフが好きで、ずっと作り続けてきました。
メメントモリ。「死を忘れるな」というラテン語の言葉があります。死を意識するから、今を大切にできる。その感覚がアメトラのタフさや、メキシコのDía de los Muertosの陽気さ、ハードコアパンクの剥き出しのエネルギーと、どこかで繋がっているような気がしています。
「いつか死ぬなら、持つものくらいは本物を。」
CBRO.mは青森県おいらせ町にある小さな革工房です。機械は使いません。デザインは手で描いて、縫い目も手で入れています。一つ作るのに時間はかかりますが、だからこそ同じものは二度と生まれません。
タトゥーアートをモチーフにした財布、キーケース、カードホルダー。オールドスクールの太い線、メキシカンの色彩感覚、パンクの反骨心。それらを革の上に手描きで落とし込んでいます。
量産品には出せない空気があります。使い込むほどに革は育って、手描きのラインは深みを増していきます。あなたの生活に馴染みながら、少しずつ変化していく。それが一点物の面白さだと思っています。

Skulls, roses, skeletal hands, hourglasses — these are the motifs I’ve always been drawn to, and the ones I keep coming back to.
Memento mori — “remember that you will die.” It sounds heavy, but there’s something freeing about it. Being aware of death makes the present feel more real. That feeling connects, for me, to the toughness of American traditional style, the warmth of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos, and the raw energy of hardcore punk.

CBRO.m is a small leather workshop in Oirase, Aomori — a quiet town in northern Japan. No machines. Every design is hand-painted, every stitch sewn by hand. It takes time to make each piece, which is exactly why no two are ever the same.
Wallets, key cases, card holders — all built around tattoo art motifs. Old school bold lines, Mexican color sensibility, punk attitude. Hand-painted directly onto vegetable-tanned leather.
Mass-produced goods have their place, but they can’t replicate this. The leather ages with you. The hand-painted lines deepen over time. It becomes yours in a way that nothing off a shelf ever could.
